Thanks for the tip off. I wanted to use Windows Live Writer in connection with Blogger. I used to be able to use Writer and then attribute the post to whichever blog site I wanted. Those were the days. I guess I'll wait for the new program.... or just go on with my current blog.

Er, what do you mean by "was" the best blogging client available? It still is... Yes, I realise that we're probably living on borrowed time before Microsoft breaks, or withdraws, it, but until that day dawns, I will continue to use it with delight.
That said, thanks for the tip about Alki. It's always useful to have a Plan B in place.

I had the opposite problem on an HP MSS EX495. At each restart it would keep booting from USB and starting from the beginning again. I had to use a debug board and enter the boot menu to select HDD each time. After looking at cfg.ini that line had not been written.

Hi, unfortunately this does not work for me, for everytime i try to connect the Display Name is being set back. The INF information reapears and I can't connect "The VPN-Client Adapter has encountered an error".

Any idea, what to do?

Same problem here, Microsoft Outlook does not exist in that left hand pane.

As listed above it didn't work (I had no VPNA listed under my CurrentControlSet\Services\ folder).

However, I found the appropriate key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet001\Services\VPNA

I made the change recommended and it worked. Thanks!

These are the correct instructions, btw. There is another site, which has something like 'cvirta' as the instead of vpnva but that key doesn't exist in the 'services' hive. Thanks!
